Asia in year 2016 (alternate history)

East Indies: After Regaining indepednence from Netherlands, Indonesia started their campaign to conquer the whole region. This was finally done in the 80's, when Indonesian army destroyed Kuala Lumpur and took the rule over Malacca.

China: The Chinese Nationalists won the war in China, but on the other hand, mainland lost control over Mongolia and East Turkestan; which later became Soviet puppets. China used to be very isolated and somehow peaceful country, but after the collapse of Soviet Union their armed forces have reataken the whole Manchuria region.

Japan and Korea: Americans and the Soviets didn't split Korea, so the communists never went into power on Korean peninsula. Both countries were close allies of the west, but they didn't really like each other.

Dominion of India: After WW2 Independent Indian country was created. British forces decided to keep Bangladesh, Ceylon, Maldives and Eastern parts of current Pakistan; as rightful Indian provinces. Later in 50's India captured Nepal and Sikkim and incorporated them as new states.

Arab Republic: The coalition led by Syria, Iraq and Yemen led to overthrow of Saudi rule in 60's and unite Arab peoples under one flag. Later united republic annexed Jordan and the former British gulf colonies.

Soviet Union: Soviet republics in Asia consisted of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kalmykia, Dagestan, Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Georgia, Armenia, Abkhazia, Idel-Ural, Buryatya and Sibir. Soviets also had four puppets: Mongolia, Turkmenia, East Turkestan and Tojikistan. In 1990; all republics gained independence from Moscow; and Satellite states overthrew communist rules.

Afghanistan: After the coup in 1993 led by islamic fundamentalists, Iran and his allies invaded this country and split this state.
